The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) participated in the Fourth Meeting of the United Nations Global Geodetic Centre of Excellence (UN-GGCE) International Advisory Committee that have been held jointly with the Sixth Plenary Meeting of UN-GGIM Subcommittee on Geodesy from 9 to 12 March 2026 at the UN Campus in Bonn, Germany.
During the meeting, GEOSA delivered a presentation on the progress achieved by the Geodetic Reference Frame Working Group (GRF-WG), showcased its efforts in supporting and development of worldwide geodetic infrastructure, to enhance and foster its readiness and reliability in a manner that supports and integrates Geospatial Apps across various development sectors.
GEOSA’s participation comes as part of its ongoing role in supporting international geodesy initiatives and strengthening global cooperation to develop geodetic infrastructure and enhance its reliability nationally and internationally.
