Within a series of the "Tamakkan" (Empower) workshops, the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA), represented by the Technology and Solutions Sector and in collaboration with the Executive Management of Change and Organizational Culture, conducted specialized workshops for its employees. This program aims to develop capabilities and enhance knowledge and professional readiness for the employees to keep in touch with latest developments and methodologies. Such efforts aim to enhance performance efficiency and to achieve the institutional goals.

Among those workshops, a workshop about "Principles of Generative AI," which addressed the fundamental concepts of generative artificial intelligence and usage regulations governing its use within government entities. The workshop also outlined relevant roles and responsibilities, highlighted key potential risks and challenges, and provided general guidelines and best practices aimed at enhancing the quality and safety of utilizing generative AI tools.

Other workshops featured the "National Enterprise Architecture Methodology (NORA)." This workshop reviewed the concept of enterprise architecture and its role in improving performance efficiency and supporting digital transformation. It also covered its components and domains, related global frameworks, and the phases, tools, and benefits of implementing the national methodology within government entities.

The workshop also addressed the key differences between the previous and updated versions of the methodology, along with its supporting guidelines. Furthermore, it reviewed several local case studies and lessons learned, ultimately enhancing alignment between business and technical capabilities, and supporting the adoption of more efficient and sustainable institutional practices.
