The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) and the National Housing Company (NHC) according to the strategic initiatives, have announced to integrate navigation services of the (KSA Map) and "Balady- Plus " applications into a unified national application called (KSA Map).

This initiative aims to consolidate efforts and enhance collaboration among government agencies, companies, and programs involved in navigation map development. The primary objectives are to serve national interests, avoiding duplication of local applications, and increased cost-effectiveness, ensure localization of geospatial data and technology.

Additionally, the initiative aims to develop a national navigation application with quality comparable to the best global practices, providing a competitive local alternative to foreign products in the Saudi market.
