The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information organized 20 introductory workshops aimed at raising awareness of the National Geospatial Governance framework and enabling stakeholders to actively participate in its implementation, ensuring the achievement of its objectives.

The workshops involved more than 100 entities from the public and private sectors, as well as the academic and non-profit sectors, in addition to a number of specialists and those who are interested. With over 1,200 participants, the sessions fostered fruitful collaboration and constructive integration between GEOSA, regional governorates, and national systems.

The regulatory documents are designed to enhance the efficiency of geospatial information management in the Kingdom, strengthen its role in supporting and enabling various national development sectors, and promote data exchange while ensuring governance, protection, quality, reliability, and effective use in alignment with modern technologies.
