H. E Dr. Bandar Ibn Saleh Al-Muslamani, the acting President of the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GASGI), signed a memorandum of understanding with H. E Mr. AbdulHadi Ibn Ahmed Al-Mansouri the President of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA), with the aim of making use of data, information, experiences and available capabilities and coordination in areas of common interest, at the headquarters of the GACA in Riyadh.
The memorandum focuses on increasing joint cooperation in the field of business and Survey and geospatial projects, integrating work with data governance, exchanging geospatial information through the national geospatial platform, raising the level of business planning, uniting efforts and avoiding duplication, in addition to qualifying and training human cadres, organizing seminars, conferences and related workshops, in addition to Exchanging experiences and technical consultations in common areas, supporting research activities between the two parties, and partnering in supporting efforts to introduce the products of both parties and raise community awareness about it.
The cooperation between the two parties comes within the framework of the qualitative partnerships that the GASGI undertakes with all governmental and non-governmental agencies. To enhance the sector, raise the efficiency of performance, maintain the sustainability and service of its partners, facilitate access to information, cadastral data, and raise the level of sector transparency.
